Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer
Elizabeth Adefioye is senior vice president and chief human resources officer for Ingredion. In this role, Adefioye overseas all global human resources functions, including talent acquisition, leadership development, compensation and benefits, as well as diversity, inclusion and engagement. Adefioye is committed to delivering people strategies that achieve a high-performance culture by attracting and developing world-class talent and building a high-performing organization.
In 2016, Adefioye joined Ingredion as vice president of human resources for North America and global specialties. Before joining Ingredion, Adefioye served in leadership HR roles at Janssen Pharmaceuticals, Novartis Consumer Health, Medtronic, and Bristol-Myers Squibb.
Adefioye holds a bachelor 's degree in chemistry from Lagos State University and a postgraduate degree in Human Resources Management from University of Westminster in London. She also earned a degree in Building Leadership Capability from Glasgow Caledonian University.
Adefioye is an ambassador for the Network of Executive Women (NEW) and serves on the board of Metropolitan Family Services. Among her accomplishments, Adefioye was listed among the "2019 Most Powerful Women in Corporate America" by Black Enterprise. In 2018, she was a recipient of the "Women Worth Watching Awards" by Profiles in Diversity Journal.
